Administrative Assistant

Location: Methuen, MA - Breakwater Adolescent Program

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday

Sunday, Monday 7:00am-3pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am: 5pm

Pay rate: $19.00-$21.00/hour

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for:

• A variety of administrative duties in support of clinical and programmatic operations including answering telephone calls appropriately and courteously.
• Ordering of office supplies and maintaining the inventory. Overseeing office equipment maintenance and contacting vendors as needed.
• Assisting managers by performing administrative duties as requested including filing, copying, faxing, posting communications on bulletin boards, typing letters, memos and reports as directed.
• Aiding the Recovery Specialist 1's in the monitoring of residents as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience and expertise in office/clerical support, preferably in a healthcare or human service setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
