The Recovery Specialist position is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic environment at their assigned program at all times with an emphasis on high quality services and customer satisfaction. The Recovery Specialist follows all policies and procedures of the program and demonstrates a positive, responsible, and respectful presence at the program.

A person in this role helps the client navigate the treatment program during their stay. This includes supervising client movement from activities, treatment, and meal times as well as possibly transporting clients to and from off-site appointments. Qualifications:

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of demonstrated experience working in substance abuse, mental health and/or working with adolescent or young adult males is required.

Experience working in a residential, inpatient or any 24-hour program is a plus. Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean drivingrecord.
