Recovery Specialist

Location: Weymouth, MA. Clinical Stabilization Services (Inpatient Treatment Program)
Schedule: Part-time. Varying shifts. 1st or 2nd shift. 7:00am-3:00pm OR 3:00pm-11:00pm

Pay rate: $20.00/hour

The Recovery Specialist is responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe environment at all times with an emphasis on high quality services and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitating the movement of clients around the building and grounds in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Providing transportation for clients and in support of program operations using the program vehicle when needed.
• Conducting alcohol and drug screens on clients using an approach that demonstrates respect and dignity for the clients.
• Assisting with admission and discharge procedures as required.
• Overseeing the clients' general housekeeping chores with participation in light housekeeping as needed, ensuring that the units remain clean and orderly.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years, or equivalent experience, in a direct care facility.
• The ability to model appropriate interactions for patients.
• The ability to communicate effectively with patients to ensure that procedures are followed, and order is maintained required.
• Applicant must be 21 years of age or over.
