Medical Director

Location: Bridgewater, MA. Old Colony Correctional Center. Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program

Schedule: Part-time. One day a week, 8-hour shift

Pay rate: $130.00-$135.00/hour

The Medical Director is responsible for:

• Overseeing the medical care of patients receiving medication for addiction treatment within the Massachusetts Department of Correction (MA DOC) system.
• Evaluating patients, prescribing and adjusting medications, and monitoring treatment progress in accordance with state and federal regulations and best practices.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure individualized continuity of care and to support effective reentry planning.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• The Medical Director must be a Qualified Addiction Specialist in possession of a current M.D. or D.O. license.
• Previous experience in an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), custodial, or correctional setting is preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
