Job Description

Spectrum's outpatient counseling program serves adults and adolescents with substance abuse and/or mental health issues at various stages of recovery. Upon admission, a comprehensive intake evaluation is completed and used to develop an individualized treatment plan for each client. Based upon this plan, services are provided to address individual needs and teach clients the skills needed for recovery. We also work closely with family members, educating them about addiction and supporting their involvement in the recovery process, as appropriate.   

The Clinician provides documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis problems. Extensive clinical experience with providing substance abuse and mental health services to adults.This position is located at our Outpatient Treatment Program in Weymouth, MA 

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience diagnosing and treating mental health disorders in adults and adolescents.
  • MA degree required.
  • Licensure preferred (LADC I or LICSW or LMHC)
  • Experience working in a social service setting and demonstrated ability to work with individuals and families.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team is essential.
