Job Description

* Provides quality individual and group clinical services and case management to assigned clients in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design and in compliance with all licensing requirements, accreditation entities, and organizational standards

* Develops, implements and revises individual treatment plans for assigned clients

* Completes and documents all required assessments, treatment plans and transition plans, including clinical progress documentation and billing paperwork in established required time frames

* Provides group treatment to clients using Spectrum curriculum and following group facilitation protocol as trained

* Refers clients to appropriate services in the community as necessary

* Demonstrates respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients

* Attends individual and group supervision and in-services as required

* Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times in the care of the clients and the use of the facility property

* Demonstrates knowledge of services and programs within Spectrum’s continuum of care and knows where to access additional information on Spectrum services and programs

* Refers clients to services using Spectrum’s continuum of care and demonstrates efforts to maximize the internal referrals within Spectrum’s continuum when appropriate

* Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning, case reviews and conferences  

* Consistently arrives for work on time and adheres to the program’s attendance policies

* Strictly adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for client information or copies of information

* Participates in staff development and training

* Maintains comprehensive current clinical skills, competencies, certifications, and licensure as required and provides documentation of such to the Clinical Director or Program Director

* Participates in clinical quality improvement initiatives as directed by their supervisor

* Assist with crisis management and other emergencies as needed

* Maintain adequate knowledge of the program’s emergency preparedness plan and emergency procedures

* Participates in all required mandatory training

* Performs other duties as assigned Schedule for this position is Tuesday thru Saturday, 8 hours days 8a-4p with one late day 11a-7p. Qualifications:

*Minimum of a masters degree in a mental health, criminal justice, psychology, or closely related field and who has a minimum of two years counseling experience.

* Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills  

* Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office preferred

* Must display use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies

* Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies  *CB
