The APRN will conduct medical assessment, triage and induction protocols with clients who are seeking Buprenorphine treatment in an outpatient community based collaborative and transitional model treatment program (Hub and Spoke type). The program will principally provide on-site buprenorphine induction services and referral to various Worcester based spokes (OTPs and OBOTs). This is a startup program that is in partnership with Bureau of Substance Abuse Services and SAMHSA.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Valid MA advanced practice license required (APRN)
  • Current CPR certificate or obtains certification within 90 days of hire required
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience
  • Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory to the Attending Psychiatrist and Nursing Supervisor.
