Executive Director of Quality Improvement

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. Worcester, MA (Onsite) Full-Time
$110,000 - $120,000/Year

Location: Westboro, MA - Spectrum's Corporate Offices and remote (60%/40%remote) with some travel to programs across the state
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday
Pay rate: $110,000-$120,000 annually

The Executive Director of Quality Improvement is responsible for:
• Implementing and overseeing the implementation and development of the Quality Improvement Plan and initiatives and processes in support of quality improvement, improved systems of care, customer engagement, and organizational development strategies.
• Identifying and implementing evidence-based quality indicators of care and benchmarks, and the integration of value-based metrics.
• In collaboration with Spectrum’s leadership team identifying emerging and best practices relative to treatment efficacy, access and quality of care, payor reimbursement trends and other methods and practices that position Spectrum as an industry leader and employer of attraction.
• Leading, supporting, and engaging staff in quality improvement projects, PDSA cycles and other quality and process review methods. This includes working in collaboration with programs and leadership in gathering data through focus groups, survey data, clinical data and developing resulting action plans and change teams focused on improved outcomes



Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Medical / Behavioral Health / Healthcare / Health Informatics preferred, a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/medical discipline is required.
• Minimum of 2 years working in progressively responsible healthcare positions required, preferably in hospitals, behavioral health programs, etc. required.
• Knowledge of research informed/evidence-based measures of care in behavioral health and/or medical field required.
• Experience in managing data collection systems and quality improvement in the fiscal healthcare or behavioral healthcare field is required.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills, display strong use of discretion and independent judgement and be able to provide leadership in a fast-paced healthcare environment
