Assistant Director

Location: Marlborough, MA - Peer Recovery Program

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm and some Saturdays and evenings

Pay rate: $20.00/hour

The Assistant Director is responsible for:

• Assisting the Program Director with the overall programmatic and administrative operations for the program including program oversight, staff supervision, external marketing and community networking.
• Working closely with peer volunteers, staff members and the Community Advisory Committee to ensure that the center effectively meets the needs of the region’s recovery community.
• Representing the organization in a positive, professional image at all times.
• Assuming the essential duties and responsibilities of the Program Director during their absence including supervision of all personnel.
• Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week as necessary

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school degree or GED required
• Driver's license
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the substance abuse treatment field or similar behavioral health field is required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
