Tablet Counselor -3201

 

Location: Hybrid role based out of Norfolk Massachusetts Department of Corrections in Norfolk, MA 

Schedule: Full-time. Must have the ability to work nights and weekends and to travel

Pay rate: $24.03/hour

Qualifications:

• BA/MA or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education or closely related field required
• DOC experience and/or Alcohol/ Drug certification preferred

This Tablet Counselor is responsible for:

• Ensuring that all inmates are provided with remote education in the assigned curriculum approved by the Department of Correction and are responsible for all documentation in the case records when needed. 
• Participating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directed. 
• Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week which may include evening and weekend programming.
